Tonight I had dinner with my favorite at buffalo. I fed the little one some corn dog bites and she loved them. I am still following the diet ok. BUT I did have a drink with dinner. Guess We will have to work out now that we are home.

The house is for sale again... If anyone knows anyone I am still offering 1% of the sales price....

Hope everyone is having a great night, I have the BACH on DVR so I have to RUN!!!!

12 months of goals...

I think for 2010 I am going to have a few different goals each month.

Last year was hard and I am a different person. I am still working on me.

So for each month I am going to post my goals so that I can "hold" myself to them. I have them on a post-it note on my desk but maybe telling them to others will help.

For January 2010:
1. drop 5 lbs
2. figure out my house situation
3. be more positive
4. stop talking to CG
5. cut out MCD's in the morning

So for the first month of the year I didn't do too bad. I am done 6lbs, I know more about what I am doing with the house, Megan said I am being more positive, and I have not had MCD's in the morning for over 2 weeks.

Bad news, I still saw CG last weekend, and he asked about going to Dallas this weekend. He is out of the phone so that is a PLUS.

For Febuary...
1. drop 6lbs
2. find a new swim suit
3. plan Abby's 1st bday party
4. pack up the house
5. detail the car

We shall see how this new month goes...

This year has many new things going on already.

One of the best things is that I will be 25 this year, AND a friend of mine had a great idea for a girls trip for my birthday. Since last years birthday was not so good, we are making new memories.

What a better way to celebrate, then to go to...........

I have been blessed with the best friends a girl could ask for. Our hotel is book, 4 days and 3 nights in the city that doesn't sleep....

This weekend started off the right way.
Friday night I spent the evening with a good friend and her little ones.

We played dress up.

These are the cutest two. Thanks for having me over.

Saturday morning I got up EARLY.. I had to leave my house because a realtor was showing it and mom and I were on a mission. A mission to find a car.

If you don't know I am looking for a new car. I drove this...
Yes it is a JAG, and yes I loved it. At first glace you will think, Grandma car.
BUT once you drive it, it is love...

I borrowed this for the weekend, but it was black and decked out...
It is nice, BUT I don't think I want the big payment that comes with it.
With everything else that has happened I am trying to be "smart" about my money...

And I drove one of these. I liked it. I have never be a SUV driver BUT I might be..

I am still "shopping" I am not sure what I want. But I know that I want something that gets good gas mileage while I am still driving 30 minutes each way to work.

After all the car shopping was done, we hit up Target, then headed to the lake. Since we had been car shopping all day we took it easy, went for a motorcycle ride, baked some cookies and then just watched movies.

Sunday was lake day. We got up mom cooked breakfast, then we headed to the water. I need to take my camera or phone next time. It is so pretty out there.

We had our August Bunco last week. It was fun, I love seeing all these girls. Our group is just getting bigger each month. Each time I think that it last longer and we are just getting louder. Can't wait till next month.

I got flowers for the big day, sent to me at work.

After Court. I might have to frame this outfit. It will always have great memories.

At dinner. I didn't take my camera in because when we were walking in it was hailing. We had a wonderful time and my best friends were there.

Broken.
Hurt.
That is the only way I can explain how I am doing.
Everything is going in the right direction.
Life is starting to come back together.
But I am still having trouble.
I know that I will only be stronger from this.
I have learned a lot.
I have learned how to be myself again.
I am finding out more and more about the situation everyday.
I know that I was the BEST wife that I could be.
I was faithful something he cannot say.
I am at peace that I am out of that relationship.
Why did I let the past 3 years go by without doing something.
Why did I let myself stay so unhappy.
Why did I let someone treat me that way.
Why did I let myself go.
In the mix of it all, I have now lost a good friend.
This was the friend that helped me get everything started.
He was the one that pointed out that I was hiding it all.
I loved this person and now I am having to get over this loss as well.
I will always be thankful for you.
I will miss you for a while.
I do hope that life turns around for you.
Why do I cry every morning.
I have wonderful friends, and the best family.
I love my new job.
I am dropping pounds.
I am trying to look to the future.

I have an old window that I redid a while back. The issue is that is has "The Wood's Nov 2006" Well since life is changing I want to change what it says on the glass. The window has some good memories which is why I want to keep it and have it some where in my house. I was also thinking of just doing my new monogram...

Today was a HUGE milestone.

Mom and I went to a family reunion this weekend.

It was 8 long hours away.

BUT i got to see my brother.

again.

And his boys, This one is Jayce, he is 5 and will start school next month.

For not seeing my mom in 2 years, he loved his Grandma.

And then there is this one, he came back with us. He gets to spend the week at Grandma's house at the lake. He was very excited.

And I ate these.

I have been weighing on Monday's and I figured that since I didn't watch what I ate AT ALL this weekend, I was going to take a week off. BUT I am going to step up the work out.

It is really hard to tell but I got some red and blonde highlights, along with a cut. Amber cut it shorter in the back and stacked it even more then before. I love it. I can't wait till my Dad sees me with short hair again. He always told me he liked it short, so we shall see this weekend if he likes it or not.

I know that on the OLD blog I updated everyone on my weight loss and how I was doing. With all the drama in my life, I have had a little issue with watching what is going in my body... BUT since June 1st, I am down 16 lbs. I have cut out the "bad" things for you. Then I have been walking and or working out everynight. The only time that I don't work out is when I am on the boat, but I figure with all the swimming and such that makes up for it. I have A LOT more to go before I have happy again BUT seeing the scale is not too bad these days.

I might be a lake brat now...

If you have tried to call me this summer, I am sorry. Since the first weekend in June I have been spending every weekend at the lake. I LOVE IT. My mom is a wonderful cook, so that is a plus. Then there is the fact that there is NO cell phone service out there. We go out on the boat, tube, swim, and ride the wave runner. I am a little spoiled this year. I think this might be my medicine to get my life back together. My Mom and Ken have been spoiling me with LOVE.

I started my 5th week at the new job, and I love it. I am finally getting things down and I have learn so much. I also have already received a promotion...

Thank you to everyone that has been praying for me. I had my first court date about 2 weeks ago, and it went very well. I am ready for more progress to be made. I will make sure to update everyone as things keep changing.

What a wonderful weekend

This was the first stress free weekend I have had in a while.

Thursday we got off work at 1. It was a nice surprise.

I went and hung out with a good friend and then we went to see the Hangover. It was SOOOO funny. It was the best afternoonm I have had in a while, and the perfect way to start the weekend... I didn't take any pictures, sorry!

Friday, Megan had a cookout at her house.

Abby was dressed for the day. I had to make a stop on my way to the party, Abby needed this red and white bow for her outfit.

I don't think that Christa was having as much fun as we were...

Later in the afternoon, we were all smiles.

Jenny and Shaun stopped by too.

Then Friday night, my best friend from High School was in town so Megan went with me to see her. We talked for hours. It was a lot of fun. Brennen, I MISS YOU, move back!

Saturday I got up and headed to the Fayetteville farmers market with my mom and her friend Holly. It was fun, after we stopped by Carnall Hall. This place had a VERY special spot in my heart, I always get teared up when I go there.

Then once we got back to the house, the rain stopped, and we went out on the boat. I don't think I have tubed in 10 years and I am paying for it. I am sore in places I didn't know could hurt.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend.

I know that I am so Thankful for the Troops and everyone that has made it possible for me to live in the USA.

I stole my new blog name from this necklace. I ordered it almost 3 weeks ago and I just got it in. I can't wait to wear it. As most of you know there is a lot of changes coming. All that I can say is Thank you.

I have some of the best friends that a girl could ask for. Everyone has been there for me and I am shocked by the response I am getting. I never even could have dreamed that everyone would have been this responsive. I am going through SO much right now and everyone has been so understanding and there for me. Thank you again ladies, you know who you are.

I am on the count down for the new job. Today is my last Friday at the Bank I currently work for. I start the new job on the 15th!!! I just found out they planned a little going away for me next Tuesday. It should be fun.
